(a) Provide Scholarship amounts to the students in need of financial assistance.
(b) Encourage and stimulate students to score higher marks in the examinations.
(c) Provide for means of rewarding students with excellent academic track record.
Whenever used herein, the masculine pronoun shall be deemed to include the feminine, and the singular to include plural, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise, and the following bold and highlighted words and phrase are used herein with the meaning thereafter ascribed:
Committee Members means the Members of the Scholarship Committee of the Jodhpur Association.
The committee shall consist of the aforesaid composition for a minimum period of 2 years. The composition shall be reviewed thereafter by the Jodhpur Association.
Class III to Class IX
Class X, XI & XII (Senior Secondary)
College Education and Professional Courses
Rs.1,500 or the actual cost of fees and books whichever is less
Actual cost of fees or Rs.3,000 whichever is less
Actual cost of fees or Rs.5,000 whichever is less. (to be disbursed in 2 half yearly installments)
The following shall be the minimum eligible criteria for an applicant to participate in the Scheme. The Scholarship Committee reserves right to alter, amend the same.
Students must have 60% marks(for category a & b) or 50 marks (for category c) in their last exam. The institution should be government-recognized, UGC-approved, or affiliated with a valid board/university.
The total monthly income of the applicant's Parents/Guardian should not exceed Rs.3,000 (Rupees Three Thousand only).
The students/applicants should be a resident of Jodhpur and should be pursuing his/her studies at Jodhpur.
The Scholarship Committee has the sole authority to select recipients, set eligibility criteria, and manage the scheme. It may amend terms as needed, and all decisions made by the committee are final and binding.
The Scholarship Committee shall create a Scholarship fund. The Association shall avail Scholarship amounts from different contributors/sponsors which shall be credited to the scholarship fund. The Members of the Association can sponsor one or more students under the Scheme. In case, if it is decided that the Scholarship Scheme shall no longer be continued, all balances lying the Scholarship fund shall be transferred in favour of Jodhpur Association, Mumbai and shall be utilized for the activities pursued by Jodhpur Association, Mumbai.
The Scholarship Committee reserves the right to forward such applications as received from eligible applicants which have been either rejected or which could not be granted scholarship due to non-availability of funds to other Institutions/Trusts/Associations recommending for grant of scholarship.
